Answer Question
Increase harmonic component due to scaling component
Dear PSCAD Users and Researchers,
I am constructing the model including a number of inverters. As referring to some models on the PSCAD homepage, I see that we can use the scaling component to realize the solar farm system.
I did not see so much harmonic in the model given on the PSCAD homepage but in my model, it seems that the harmonic increases when I included the scaling component. E.g. the steady-state error of power output of the inverter system is about 2% with scaling component while it is just 0.5% without it.
I tried many ways to solve the problems e.g.
-Change the configuration of the filter
-Tuning parameters of the filter
-Change the value of inductance (of grid side)...
but the problem still remained.
Could you give me some suggestions to mitigate the effect of the scaling component on the harmonic of the designed inverter system?
