Answer Question
How can I design a swing equation in PSCAD?
Hi.
I have many questions.
Using the data of PSCAD Synchronous Machine, I want to make a mathematical model of Swing Equation in PSCAD.
Swing Equation that I know is as below.

Question 1. Is this the Pe, Pm?

electrical torque x angular velocity = Pe, mechanical torque x angular velocity = Pm.
Is it right?
2. Is this the power angle?

PhsAang is the internal phase A angle of synchronous machine and V2_phs is the phase of infinite bus voltage.
Is the delta the power angle?
3. Is this the Pmax?
I need Pmax data for some reason.

Pe = Pmax sin(delta), so Pmax = Pe/sin(delta). Is it right?
4. Is this the Swing Equation?

This is very difficult to design.. I want to know how I design the Swing Equation in PSCAD..
Please answer me!
