Answer Question
How to prevent changes in all the subsystems when you change a component in one subsystem?
Hello all,
I am relatively new to PSCAD. I am currently working on Modular Multilevel Converters (MMC) and Solar PV Panels. In the MMC, apart from the traditional sub module, I am also using a Power Module (PM) which has a PV panel connected in parallel to each Capacitor of every sub module. I am calling the traditional sub module as a Redundancy Module (RM). Now, for the control strategy, I need the readings of currents in both the RM and PM at each instant. When I tried to do this and name the currents accordingly with respect to their module number (for ex. Irm1 for current in the RM 1), the same change occurs in all the sub modules. Now, all the currents in all the sub modules are named as Irm1.
It would help me if any of you could shed some light on this.
I have also attached the various screenshots of my problem for your reference.

Thank you for your time.
