Answer Question
Battery Storage System with varying charge/discharge power
Hi,
I want to model a Battery Storage System which can get charged and discharged with different powers. In this way it shall react on the power differences in my microgrid and act accordingly.
There is a battery model in PSCAD and I read the help and looked at the cases I found in the Knowledge Base...
It seems to me that there is always a constant power output or input of the battery, so the battery model can not balanced the power differences in my microgrid, if the power of my Photovoltaik or the load changes.
Am I right about that?
If I can not use the PSCAD-Battery model, is there another model acting as required?
All my Storage System has to do is balancing the power in my microgrid and providing stable voltage to the bus (I want to model my microgrid first with a DC-Bus, later build a similar model with an AC-Bus, so i can compare them).
Please help me out!
Thank you and best regards,
Fabian
