At this time, there is no way in PSCAD to define a transfer function using State Space and thus we are also not able to plot the Root Locus.
However, the new PSCAD 4.6 (too be released in a few months) will have a new component that will allow you to define a transfer function using state space. You will be allowed to enter the matrices A, B, C, D that define the behavior.
We are also looking into the Root Locus representation to see if it is possible to render that too. For now, it is on our feature request list.
