Yes. The software store all the information in a schematic drawing format. The topology of the circuit is deduced by analyzing the processing grid for mutual x,y port locations an wires that are used to provide interconnects. A topology listing is created to perform compilation of the network connectivity nodes and current pathways.

I would like to import some grid studies from software for short circuits calculations, load flow and power quality analysis of distribution grids.
