In attachment you can find a simple example of using File read component. You can also import in PSCAD COMTRADE signals (from real protection relays) or other simulation tools. For that purpose you must use .dat file from COMTRADE disturbance files. You can also experiment and make fault source as set of trhree single-phase source etc.
