Please check that your playback editor has right switching time. Reduce it far lower than 1/240 secs. Try it there is good probability it will work.

I have created an AC signal in PSCAD which is a combination of 60Hz waveform and an exponentially decaying 240Hz waveform.
When I plot such a signal I can see it the way it should be. But when I play it back using 'playback editor', I can't see the decaying signal. Instead there is just a 60Hz signal at the output. Is it not possible to reproduce and playback an exponential AC signal?
