Suppose we have an instance in the cloud with PSCAD installed.
We have a script that can start PSCAD, take a license, select the correct Fortran compiler and have access the PSCAD workspace / case / library files.
We want the instance to be started specifically to run the script, and to be stopped immediately after the script is finished.
We don’t want someone connected via Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) to perform any manual actions.
Has anyone managed to implement such an automated process?
The problem we face is that a PSCAD script requires the PSCAD GUI to be open, which is precisely what we want to avoid, the objective being to make massive simulations without human intervention.
Have you ever done this sort of thing and how did you get around this problem?
