When importing .xml file to PRSIM, why only a part of the data is included and other data is not?
I have exported an .xml file from PowerFactory and wish to import it to PRSIM. The .xml file seems to include all the model components. However, when importing the .xml file to PRSIM, only buses are included and all other data (such as lines, transformers, general load) vanishes. There are no warnings or errors in the output window. What could be wrong?
Below information from the PRSIM output window:
...
DATA FORMAT : DIgSILENT (R) DGS Export V1.8.4 APPLICATION : DIgSILENT (C) PowerFactory V21.0.9.0 XML VERSION : 6.0
... Verified network data: 0 errors and 0 warnings.
Updating network: 0.00 sec 'CID ': 1 'BUS ': 3 'FACTS_DEVICE ': 1 'DIAGRAM ': 1 'CARTESIAN ': 3 'CARTESIAN_BRANCH ': 5 Saving network as v33 raw file: 0.00 sec
And below some text from the .xml file which gives the details for one of the lines:
<ElmLne> <FID>6</FID> <OP>C</OP> <loc_name>Line</loc_name> <fold_id>8</fold_id> <typ_id>56</typ_id> <dline>100</dline> <fline>1</fline> <GPScoords.SIZEROW>1</GPScoords.SIZEROW> <GPScoords.SIZECOL>0</GPScoords.SIZECOL> <nlnum>1</nlnum> <inAir>0</inAir> </ElmLne>

I have tried the conversion function in Digsilent, but the result is not satisfactory, especially when the substation contains multiple buses. It may be better to convert a single-line diagram in Digsilent. If the result is still not satisfactory, it is recommended to convert from Digsilent to PSSE 33 and then use PSSE import function in PRSIM for better results.
