I think you'd better use the python automation lib to do this. I remember there is a way to do this.
Enable/disable blocks by parameter?
Hi everybody,
I'm already familiar witht he PSCAD v5 functionality of Enable/Disable throught right click and pop-up menu. I'm also used to work with layers since PSCAD version 4.6.3.
What I wonder is whether it is possible to Enable/Disable blocks through a parameter that can be selected by the user. The rationale behind this is to disable to time consumming blocks (e.g. power electronics) during some simulations and substitute them by lighter ones (e.g. average value models).
Doing so in an automatic way saves time and preventsmistakes that may be committed during manual operation of the model.

Thank you very much Ackurdeeve,
I am aware that it can be done through a python code but I the specification is to do it through a parameter.
I have explored the use of segments in the script tab of the definition but it did not work.

use #if #else scripts to do this simply by add a block parameter. This method is only for pure script based models.
For enable/disable, i think it is impossible by setting via parameters.
This is a code seg from the pscx file (open as txt file).
