PRSIM Equivalent Network
Hi,
I am trying to translate a big network from PSSE to PSCAD, using PRSIM.
I built part of my network at PRSIM but I cannot generate the equivalent network for the rest of the grid.
I am attaching the error that PRSIM gives me.
I have checked the impedance of the lines. All of them are above 0.1E-5. However, few of them have negative values.
Any idea of what I need to change ?
Kind regards,
Panos

Try to separate the cables and the transformers in your PSS/E diagram file, this happened to me as PRSIM assumes they are connected and adds small impedance lines. I fully understand it is a tedious job.

I fadely remember that the point was to have no buses with small impedances to any network boundary buses. If this condition is fulfilled then the NETEQ works fine, at least for me.
By the way in PSSE the Equivalencing works even easier.
