I have modelled a lightning current and a solar pv system in PSCAD. I need to inject the lightning current into the solar pv system to note down its effects, but since I cannot get a proper time setting for this injection in PSCAD, by the time the main result comes, the lightning current already falls down to zero and thus there is no surge in voltage or current in the solar pv system.
So it would be of great help if someone can help me out with the time settings for this injection, such that the simulation runs only for the duration for which the lightning current peaks and thus I can observe and record the transient voltage and current in the pv system.
Thank you.
