Simulation Subsynchrous resonance of DFIG based Windfarm by PSCAD
Dear all,
I am researching Subsynchrous resonance of DFIG based Windfarm by PSCAD.
I try simulating base on DFIG example as link below. I connected a very small series capacitor, but it oscillate very strong. So i can not observe Subsynchrous resonance (SSR).
Please, guide me or share example about simulation of SSR in DFIG based wind farm.

The SSR in wind turbines occur when the total resistance is negative. You can perform impedance analysis to see the polarity of R.
How can you change system R? You can try different ways. 1) change the number of wind turbines, 2) change the RSC control parameters. You can also change compensation level.
You need to find a point where the R changes from positive to negative or where the system becomes unstable.
