Are Variable Resistors not allowed to connect in parallel?
We model two resistors, whose value can be changed based on current and temperature. When the variable resistors were connected in parallel, 3 errors occurred. Their descriptions say "Description Non-standard Messages: Abnormal program termination", "Description EMTDC Runtime Error: abnormally terminated" and "Description ERROR: Abnormal termination of EMTDC by SCTEST". While the variable resistors were connected in serial, the system was in a normal running. Are variable resistors not allowed to connect in parallel?
