Do you have a model of a GIS next to the AC side of an MMC HVDC?
Do you have model that studies the impact on AC voltage on DC Gas-Insulated SwItchgears (GIS) installed in offshore HVDC installations? If you don't have such a model, do you have a referfence paper where is discussed the impact of combined DC/AC overvoltages/overcurrents on GIS HVDC? What designs or methodologies could be proposed to avoid or mitigate these stresses in GIS?
I have uploaded a picture that descriubes my scenario. In red color is where the GIS in this case is supposed to be located, in the converter midpoint. I need to study the combined DC/AC stresses there.
I need to have a model that has a modelled MMC HVDC and something like a GIS connected on the HVDC's AC side, to study the impact of such overvoltages/currents. Arresters is one method to mitigate overvoltages, so if you have a model of HV surge artresters that you could share that would also be of help. Thank you!
