You can use example sync_exciter_governor. You can replace the source with this machine and update the parameters per the IEEE bus system data.

Hello All
I want to simulate Grid Inertial Response by tripping generator,so first I need to bulid a IEEE bus system.
However,the problem is how to bulid IEEE bus system with synchronous generator instead of voltage source?
I know PSS/E has this simulation case, but I want to try to simulate on PSCAD
