I'll try to answer based on the limited info listed here, and excuse me if I misunderstand the question. I see that the question is directed to me so I'll help as I can.
Ligtning study is a local study looking for the effect of the strike on one tower/stn by modeling several spans away. After five tower spans, you need to have a line terminator to avoid wave reflection. So you need a line that is very long. You have a choice to verify the above model, pick one line from your model (so it has the same surge impedance) and make its length 100km. Check the results and compare it with the one you have now. It should be identical.
