I am going to map reflection and transmission coefficients in a small testing single phase system by means of PSCAD, in order of 10 meter. The system is a bit confusing and I can not recognize the effect of oscillation and reflection on the waveshape. The applied signal is a non-ideal square wave hence, no single operating frequency exists. Is there any easy way to map the signal flow, reflections and transmissions at different nodes? Can I use harmonic impedance scan to determine reflections at different nodes instead of characteristic impedance?
