How to combine more than 12 individual scalar signals using data merge or any other tool?

Hello All,

I am designing a Modular Multilevel Converter using 24 Sub Modules per arm. For control purposes, I need to merge the capacitor voltages. Since the data merge allows only for 12 scalar signals to merge, I was wondering if there is any other way to merge more than 12 signals in PSCAD using either the Data Merge or any other form of merging tool.

Hello

The simplest answer is to feed 2 datamerges of 12 signals each into a datamerge component that takes 2. This cascading of data merges will allow you to take in 24 total signals.

This concept can be applied over and over to merge in hundreds of signals if you want.

The array merge was introduced in PSCAD version 4.6.0 and later. What version are you using?
