How to adjust graph frame properties In PSCAD using Python automation script

Hello All,

Is it possible to adjust the graph frame properties In PSCAD using Python automation script? This is very important when we need to adjust the viewed range of the X axis or Y axis. in the output graph frames.

Dear hghaffarzadeh,

you cannot adjust the graph frame properties inside PSCAD from an external script. However, you can export/save the PSCAD .out-files and run your own Python script for plotting the signals. Then it is possible to choose your own settings.

Thanks a lot for your reply. What is the best way to export or save data from different output channels in PSCAD? I know PSCAD saves the output data as .out files, but first of all it does not add any header to these files and it is difficult to recognize the signals, and also I need to run several case studies using my Python script but PSCAD overwrites the .out files in each run. I appreciate your help.
