Hi there,
Your question is not clear because if the signal is periodic then you can use Fourier series, and if your signal is not periodic then you can use Fourier transform. Also you can try to use Fast Fourier Transform block in PSCAD library.

Hi,
An easier approach will be to
1- Convert your non sine wave into an electrical quantity i.e. voltage (if it isnt already). --> This can be done by using non sinusoidal signal as an input for voltage source (with external input).
2- Using the multimeter component, measure the rms voltage at the terminal of voltage source. --> This will essentially be the average value of non-sine wave.
