password-protected components?
For one of my PSCAD components I use a static library called from a pslx file.
The component has parameters listed in the pslx file.
The user of the component is asking that some of the parameters be protected by a password.
Is this possible in PSCAD?

Hello,
Are you asking to password protect parameters from being changed? As in, when someone wants to change parameters they first need to enter a password?
Or are you asking to password protect a page module?

I am asking the former, i.e. before someone can change a parameter they need to enter a password. Is that possible?

Hello,
I checked with our developers and at this time this feature is not available. The best thing to do if you want to hide components or want to prevent a user from changing components is to black box a page module with all components inside. If you need help with this please let us know. There is also information regarding black boxing available on our knowledge base.
