Hi Brinda.
You must put a DC source at DC side that lead the active power flow from the AC to DC or vice verisa. Outherwise, it is impossible to supply power for AC side.
For example, when you put the Pref let say 1 pu to be delivered into the AC system, so from where the required power come from.
