cable capacitance discharge time
hello everyone,
has anybody have ever attempted to de-energised a cable?
I am using a frequency dependant model, 7 km 630mm.sq cable and de-energised it.
the time for the cable to fully de-energised ins approximately 3 s. Which is quite perculiar...
am i missing something with the cable model, fyi i have update the curve fitting frequency so that the the lower is small enough to capture the dc part of the cable discharge .
