Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been pursuing my doctoral course on power system dynamics.
I am checking effect of DFIG based wind power integration on conventional power system.
Hence I have prepared WSCC 3 Generator 9 bus system, in which I have replaced generator number 3 ( 128 MVA) with equivalent wind generator.
After load flow Gen-3 gives 5 MW of active power and consumes 10 MVAR of reactive power.
Difficulties I am facing :
1) How to increase active power from standard model 0.9 MW of DFIG to 85 MW ?
2) How can I adjust generation of active and reactive power in standard model of DFIG available on PSCAD website ?
3) For synchronous machines and DFIG , what is mathematical modelling or equations used to calculate active and reactive power output ?
