Thank you for your great question.
Although we do not officially suppot Windows 10 at this point, some customers are currently using this operating system.
Note
PSCAD is currently officially supported on Windows 7.
There are two known issues to be aware of when running PSCAD on Windows 10.
1. Licensing
If you will be hosting a PSCAD USB lock license on a Win10 computer, Sentinel Driver 7.5.9 is required. This driver may be downloaded from the following link:
http://updater.pscad.com/utilities/USBDrivers_7.5.9.zip
Note
This issue only affects machines that host the USB lock license. This issue does not affect client machines that obtain their licensing from a remote license server, or users of "certificate-based" licensing (for example, the Free Edition).
2. Simulation Speed
Running v4.6.0 simulations on Windows 10 may be slower than using an earlier version of PSCAD. This is due to Windows 10 Defender, the anti-virus that comes with Windows 10. Solutions for this issue are listed in Section 7.26 of the manual, "Resolving PSCAD Issues", which is available on the following webpage:

I hope this helps.

Eve
