Calculating symmetrical components using FFT block in PSCAD
I am simulating a L-L fault on the secondary of a delta-wye ( high impedance grounded system). I have built a simple model using PSCAD consisting of a utility, transformer and RL loads. Based on sequence network diagrams, I should measure a positve and negative sequence currents (I1 = -I2) on the primary of the transformer for a L-L fault on the transformer secondary. But when i run the model, I dont get the same result. Has anyone tried this and mind sharing their thoughts?
