The definition of the Squirrel Cage induction Machine is still there but the instance has been removed. If you pull down a definition list of the Master library components from the tree, you will see it there.
Internally, the models for wound-rotor and squirrel-cage machines are similar.
The squirrel-cage definition was kept in the library to ensure compatibility with old cases. We recommend that users use the wound-rotor model, since it is more versatile and provides the same results.
