Answer Question
The simulation process has stopped unexpectedly
Hi,
I tried to run a project which contains the customized libraries. I followed the "readme.txt" file to copy several .dll files to its output folder but I always got the error "The simulation process has stopped unexpectedly. Please review runtime messages for details." However, in the runtime message, there was no information related to this error. The screenshots for the error and runtime message are attached below.
Fortunately, we found it could be caused by the anti-virus software, McAfee, which deleted one of .dll files. We disabled McAfee and run the model seccessully on my collegue's PC. However, it was failed for me to use the same way to run the model on my PC. Noted: I checked that no .dll file was deleted by McAfee aftter I disabled it; I can run other models with the same Intel Fortran so I think there is no problem in PSCAD, fortran, and visual studio.
Could anyone give me any help on this error?
