When modelling an offshore wind turbine park, typically a lot of interarray cables need to be modelled in detail as the length does not permit a pi-model. These cables only differ in name and length.
However, when modelling these cables as instances of a certain definition, modelling the cable interfaces remains inefficient: the name of the cable needs to be entered three times for every segment and when trying to investigate a variant for example on the grounding wires or the shield resistance of the coaxial wires, this needs to be adapted for every cable separately.
This could be helped by defining the cable together with the interfaces and the grounding resistances as one custom module block with only the name and the length as parameter. However, I only succeeded to define parameters for "variable" input parameters.
