For one of my PSCAD components I use a static library called from a pslx file. The component has parameters listed in the pslx file. The user of the component is asking that some of the parameters be protected by a password. Is this possible in PSCAD?
Hi Mathias,
Thanks for your response.
I am asking the former, i.e. before someone can change a parameter they need to enter a password. Is that possible?

Hi Mathias,
Thanks for your response.
I am asking the former. If someone wants to change a parameter, they would need to enter a password. Is that possible?

I checked with our developers and at this time this feature is not available. The best thing to do if you want to hide components or want to prevent a user from changing components is to black box a page module with all components inside. If you need help with this please let us know. There is also information regarding black boxing available on our knowledge base.

Hello,
Are you asking to password protect parameters from being changed? As in, when someone wants to change parameters they first need to enter a password?
Or are you asking to password protect a page module?
